It was pretty lively considering that the heat index was something like 108. The entertainment was good too as there were guys doing flips in the street and telling jokes. One place we stopped had two musicians playing some of the best blues and rock we've heard giving the guys a glimpse at the talent which has given Memphis its title as "home of the blues birthplace of rock and roll" After spending the afternoon hanging out on Beale St. the guys headed back to the boat but found there access denied as the bridge to Mud island which they had used to cross over earlier was gated and locked. Another cab was called in ordr ot bring them back to the yacht club. From there the evening was pretty quite as the guys slept soundly on Mud Island away from the darkened streets of Memphis.
